Bob Powers

BOB POWERS is a WGA award nominated TV writer, author, and content creator. His writing career began when his humor blog drew thousands of daily readers and was adapted into his first book, Happy Cruelty Day! (St Martins Press). Several humor books followed, as did regular contributions to McSweeney's, The New Yorker's Shouts and Murmurs, Esquire, and GQ. Bob was editor of the humor website someecards.com from 2011 to 2015, when the site's audience scaled up from 5 million to 25 million unique visits per month. After leading digital video projects for AOL, Yahoo!, and Huffington Post, Bob moved into television. Since 2016 he's written for sitcoms and comedy/variety shows on Comedy Central, Showtime, Hulu, and Paramount+. He lives in Brooklyn.
